True story: I once went to a professor’s office hours because she used the word “interesting” to describe my short story, and I took this to mean I was failing the class.
(You might laugh, but you all know that “interesting” is code for “I hate it and I don’t want to hurt your feelings because I’m a nice person”!)
In 2008, I couldn’t get a job and wrote this poem about it. I illustrated it about a year later, and it appeared on The Feathertale Review in 2011, or something like that. In any case, another bonus comic, to say “thank you!” because somehow over a hundred people are visiting this site each day even though it’s only ten days old. New (I promise new!) material will be up on Wednesday.
